Mini-Grant Application

WHO CAN APPLY?

Educators in the Pender County School System who teach grades K12 are encouraged to apply. The Pender Education Partnership is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization with a mission to enhance innovative, educational opportunities for the students of Pender County Schools by collaborating with educators, parents, businesses, and the greater community.

WHAT KINDS OF PROJECTS WILL BE CONSIDERED?

Any creative project that enhances the learning experience of children in Pender County Schools will be considered. Mini-grant projects may include materials, guest speakers, and other creative ideas designed to improve, advance, and enrich student learning. Neither teachers nor staff may be paid through this grant. Projects must be completed during the 2024-25 academic year.

HOW DO I APPLY?

Applications must be completed below and submitted by clicking the SUBMIT button. Completion of the form indicates the applicant’s signature. The initials of the school principal or teacher’s supervisor will act as their signature and will be verified upon submission. If a printed version is needed click on the PRINT APPLICATION button for a printable version of the application. Printed applications should then be emailed or shared via Google doc to shannon_grable@pender.k12.nc.us Subject line of the email must read PEP teacher mini-grant. All applications must be submitted by November 15, 2024 for consideration during the 2024-25 school year.

NOTIFICATION OF AWARDS

The selection committee will recommend Grant awards. Recipients will be notified in December of 2023 before Christmas break. Upon completion of the projects, recipients may be asked to provide a written summary with samples of class work and photographs.
